Carol Denbow

In 2004, Carol Denbow sat down and wrote the introduction to her first book. Two years later, "Are You Ready to Be Your Own Boss?" was in print fulfilling the need for new business owners to achieve success.

Carol is a successful retired business owner, mom of two awesome kid’s, and since 2006 has authored or co-authored five additional non-fiction books including, “A Book Inside, Writing, Publishing, and Selling your Story” (2008), and “Stress Relief for the Working Stiff, How to Reverse the Embalming Effect” (2008).

She recently published an e-book, How to Organize a Virtual Book Tour and is working on the next (give her another month!!!).

Carol shares her writing, publishing, and marketing experience with forthcoming and published authors through her popular blog, “A Book Inside.” In addition, she has built and maintains ten other Websites devoted to promoting the books of first-time authors.

Carol has recently opened a Ning site to help authors "sell" their books rather than talk back and forth with other authors (not that that's bad!). The site welcomes new authors and book lovers! Please visit Author and Book Event Center at http://bookeventcenter.ning.com.

In addition to her associations with writing and publishing, she is also the creator and manager of "Writer's Gift Shop," an online gift store for writers, authors, and poets at http://writersgiftshop.com.

Carol lives with her husband Craig on a small farm near the southern coast of Oregon. In retirement, she enjoys golf, fishing, and of course, writing! Carol is also an active patient volunteer and fund-raising coordinator for South Coast Hospice in North Bend as well as a member of several writing communities.
